The S63 makes big power the moment you touch it, and on the F90 M5 and F9X M8 the factory charge coolers are the limit. They heat soak after a couple of pulls and the car quietly gives back everything the tune found. This CSF set replaces both sides with custom liquid to air cores carrying close to 100 percent more core volume per side than OEM, so there is roughly double the mass available to absorb heat before temps start climbing.
The cores were developed with CFD analysis rather than just scaled up, and the end tanks are one piece with the charge pipes integrated, which removes a seam and a coupler from each side and cleans up the airflow path. Real world result is lower and far more stable intake air temps, worth about 0.3 seconds off a 60 to 130 run on an otherwise unchanged car. The difference is largest exactly where you would want it, on the second and third pull.
Each cooler has dual 1/8 inch NPT ports for E85 or methanol injection if you are going that direction later, and the water fittings are OEM style quick connects with factory sensor ports retained. Finish is crinkle black.
Fits the 2016 to 2021 F90 M5 and the 2017 to 2021 M8 in F91, F92, and F93. The set includes both left and right coolers with all mounting hardware, it reuses the factory coolant loop and pump, and it installs with no cutting or modification. No tune is required, though anyone running this is usually running one, and the coolers will support considerably more than stock power.
