Performance V1 Dry Carbon Fiber Mirror Cap Replacements - G80 M3 | G82 / G83 M4 | G42 M240i

Give your G8X M3 or M4 a subtle but noticeable upgrade with the Performance V1 carbon fiber mirror cap replacements. These mirror caps feature a 2x2 carbon weave and are direct replacements for your OEM mirror caps. The mirror, original housing, and turn signal LED will need to be removed and swapped over from your OEM mirror caps. We highly recommend professional installation.

Dry carbon is considered better than wet carbon because it has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, meaning it's stronger and lighter than wet carbon. Additionally, dry carbon is made using a different manufacturing process, which involves using a vacuum and heat to remove all the excess resin from the carbon fiber weave, resulting in a more uniform and consistent product. This process also makes dry carbon more expensive than wet carbon, but for those looking for the best performance and quality, it's well worth the investment.
