Using prepreg carbon fiber instead of traditional wet carbon results in a lighter weight component with more consistent quality and fitment. Each inlet is finished with a durable, UV resistant clear coat and features a 2x2 carbon weave that closely matches the OEM carbon fiber pattern found on the G8X platform.

Prepreg carbon fiber differs from wet carbon in that the carbon fabric is preimpregnated with resin and cured under controlled heat and vacuum pressure. The manufacturing method does not affect the glossy finish, and these air inlets will visually match other 2x2 carbon fiber components.
