Give the front end of your G8X M3 or M4 a more aggressive aftermarket look with the VR1 front lip. This lip is made using 100% genuine dry carbon. This ensures a consistent high quality fit and finish. The lip has a 3-piece design, consisting of two outer pieces and one center piece. All of the carbon fiber parts on our site come equipped with a high quality clear coat to protect against UV damage as well as minor road debris. Holes are pre-made into the mold for an easier installation. Professional installation is always recommended.
Unlike similar style lips, no drilling is required for the VR1. The VR1 lip mounts using OEM mounting points; all holes come pre-drilled for a more straight-forward installation process.
When it comes to carbon fiber, there are two types: wet and dry carbon. Dry carbon is considered better than wet carbon because it has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, meaning it's stronger and lighter than wet carbon. Additionally, dry carbon is made using a different manufacturing process, which involves using a vacuum and heat to remove all the excess resin from the carbon fiber weave, resulting in a more uniform and consistent product. This process also makes dry carbon more expensive than wet carbon, but for those looking for the best performance and quality, it's well worth the investment.
