The Variant 3 is KW's top street and track coilover, and this version is built specifically for the S55 powered F80 M3 and F82 M4. The strut bodies use KW's inox line stainless steel construction, which resists road salt and moisture far better than coated steel and keeps the threaded collars turning freely for years. What separates the V3 from a single adjustable kit is independent damping: rebound and compression run on separate circuits, so you can sharpen steering response and body control without making the ride punishing over rough pavement.
Because the F8X M3 and M4 came from the factory with electronic damping control, this kit includes KW's EDC cancellation module. It deactivates the stock adaptive dampers and clears the dash fault, so there are no warning lights after the install. Ride height is set through threaded front strut housings and adjustable rear spring perches, with 15 to 40mm of drop at both axles. KW's own progressive rate springs are matched to the dampers, so it is one engineered package rather than mixed components.
Every V3 is assembled and tested in Germany on KW's seven post test rig and carries German TUV approval on its settings. It is a fully serviceable, double adjustable coilover for F80 and F82 owners who want real control over how the car sits and drives, from daily street use to the occasional track day.
