Additions
Order EMD springs and EMD spacers together and the entire order ships free anywhere in the lower 48.
After much anticipation, EMD Auto released their lowering spring kit for the G80 M3. Taking what they learned from the popular F80 springs, the goal was to lower the S58 car a tasteful amount while keeping ride quality at or better than stock. Multiple prototypes and owner feedback went into the final rates.
The springs are engineered around the factory dampers and are fully compatible with both standard and adaptive suspension. Each one is made in the USA from high tensile chrome silicon to EMD's own rates and geometries, shot peened, pre-set and 100 percent tested, then powder coated in stealth black for an OEM appearance.

FAQ
Are these springs compatible with adaptive ride control?
Yes. They pair well with adjustable damping and maintain the distinct ride characteristics between modes.
Are these springs okay for a daily driver?
Yes. They were specifically designed for daily driven cars and are built to maintain factory ride quality.
Will lowering springs wear out my factory shocks and struts prematurely?
These are a linear rate design similar to the OEM units, so they are not expected to cause additional wear. Spring heights stay within the travel range of the factory shocks and struts to ensure longevity.
Will there be any added noise?
No. The linear design has no dead coils, so there is no added noise over a stock spring.
I received plastic spacers with my springs. What are these for?
These machined ABS spacers are included with the M3 springs and give you some adjustability in how the body line sits. Install without them for a factory body line, or with them for a forward rake and an even tire to fender gap. The G80 sits roughly an inch lower in the rear from the factory, so leaving the spacers out keeps that look. The spacers install on top of the metal upper spring perch, between the perch and the body. If the perch stays in the body when you pull the spring, tap it with a rubber mallet to free it, then seat the spacer on top using the nub to center it.
