Performance V1 Carbon Fiber Rear Wing - Various F/G-Chassis Models

The Performance V1 rear wing features a full dry carbon construction and fits many makes and models of BMWs (listed below). The wing we offer is based directly on the wing designed by BMW's M Performance team and is made using the same materials. It features a high quality clear coat to protect against harmful UV rays and minor road debris. In addition, the swan-neck design creates functional downforce that any track enthusiast will be sure to notice.

Please note that instructions are not included, professional installation is highly recommended. Drilling into the trunk is required, hardware is included. 

When it comes to carbon fiber, there are two types: wet and dry carbon. Dry carbon is considered better than wet carbon because it has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, meaning it's stronger and lighter than wet carbon. Additionally, dry carbon is made using a different manufacturing process, which involves using a vacuum and heat to remove all the excess resin from the carbon fiber weave, resulting in a more uniform and consistent product. This process also makes dry carbon more expensive than wet carbon, but for those looking for the best performance and quality, it's well worth the investment. This does not affect the glossy finish, this is simply the manufacturing process. These will still match with parts that are 2x2 wet carbon fiber.
