CSF DCT Oil Cooler
The dual clutch transmission in the E9X M3 puts a lot of heat through its fluid, and the factory cooler is the limiting piece once you start tracking the car or driving it hard for long stretches. When transmission temps climb too far, the car dials power back to protect the gearbox, which ends the fun and the lap. This CSF unit replaces the OEM transmission oil cooler with a higher capacity bar and plate aluminum core that holds more fluid and rejects more heat, so the DCT stays in its operating range longer.
It is a true drop in fit that mounts in the factory location and connects to the OEM transmission lines, so there is no fabrication or rerouting. It fits the DCT equipped E9X M3, which covers the E90 sedan, E92 coupe, and E93 convertible with the S65 V8. The cooler comes in a natural aluminum finish.
On most of these cars the factory cooler is fifteen years old or more, with fins that are bent, clogged, and well past their best, so it doubles as a straight refresh of a worn part and a capacity upgrade in one. It is aimed at anyone who tracks the car, runs it hard in the heat, or just wants to take transmission temperature off the list of things to worry about.
