We are excited to introduce the second revision of our popular Performance V1 carbon fiber mirror caps. The updated Performance V2 design incorporates several meaningful improvements, including a more durable clear coat, reinforced mounting tabs, and full prepreg carbon fiber construction. These updates result in a stronger, more refined product while maintaining excellent overall value.
The Performance V2 mirror caps are manufactured from genuine prepreg carbon fiber. Compared to traditional wet carbon, prepreg construction provides a higher strength to weight ratio, resulting in a lighter and more rigid component with consistent resin distribution and improved surface quality. The controlled curing process produces a uniform weave and refined finish without affecting the glossy appearance, allowing these mirror caps to visually match other 2x2 carbon fiber components.
Professional installation is recommended. The mounting tabs on mirror caps, whether OEM or aftermarket, require careful handling and precise alignment during installation to ensure proper fitment and avoid damage.
