Fix the bumpsteer that comes with lowering your BMW using SPL Parts Bumpsteer Adjustable Tie Rod Ends. When you lower the car, the front suspension geometry changes and the toe swings through its travel, causing the car to dart and wander over bumps and under braking. These tie rod ends relocate the pivot with stackable spacers so you can correct the toe curve and get the front end settled again.
The payoff is a more predictable, planted car with better steering feel, improved stability over rough roads and track curbing, and less tire shoulder wear on a lowered setup. Improved geometry also frees up more articulation and droop travel than the factory arms allow.
Built from a 6061-T6 aluminum body, a 4140 chromoly tapered stud, 304 stainless steel spacers, and titanium hardware, they actually come in about 3 percent lighter than stock while running maintenance free PTFE lined FK bearings. Made in the USA and sold as a pair, one pair per car.
Important: the M cars use the larger 16mm tie rod with Sport Adaptive Steering. Non M G2X and G42 without Sport Adaptive Steering use a 14mm tie rod and require a different part number.
