CSF S55 DCT Transmission Cooler

DCT temps are the thing that ends a session before the driver does. The F8X pulls torque and softens shifts once the transmission fluid gets hot, and the factory cooler is a single pass six tube unit that runs out of capacity fast on track or in stop and go summer traffic. This CSF cooler drops into the same location and gives you 10 cooling tubes instead of 6, a 67 percent increase in rows, for up to 30 percent more cooling efficiency than stock.

Construction is a dual core layout using high pressure 26mm multi channel microtubes with a high density multi louvered fin pitch, so it moves more heat without adding restriction to the fluid circuit. Practical effect is that trans temps stabilize instead of climbing, so the car keeps shifting the way it should on lap four and the clutch packs and fluid live a lot longer.

Fits the 2015 and newer F80 M3 and F82 and F83 M4 with the S55 and the DCT gearbox. Cars with the 6 speed manual do not use this cooler, so check your transmission before ordering. It is a direct bolt on that retains all OEM connection points and mounting, with no cutting, modification, or tune required.
