Heat is the S65's known weak point, and the factory plastic and aluminum radiator is the part that gives up first once you start running the car hard. This CSF unit replaces it with a full aluminum two row, triple pass core that routes coolant across the radiator three times instead of once, so the water spends far longer in the airflow before it goes back into the block.
The core uses CSF's B Tube technology with a seam brazed design, where an inlet down the center of each tube creates dual laminar flow and adds roughly 15 percent more heat transfer surface than a conventional tube. Pair that with the multi louvered fin pitch and you get meaningfully lower coolant temps on back to back track sessions, which is exactly the condition where an E9X M3 starts pulling timing and cooking its oil. Finish is a hand polished mirror aluminum, so it looks the part with the hood up.
Fits the 2008 to 2013 E90, E92, and E93 M3 with the S65 V8. It is a drop in fit using CNC machined brackets and hardware, with no cutting, trimming, or modification, and it works alongside the rest of the CSF cooling lineup if you are building the system out.
