Dry carbon fiber ensures a consistent, high-quality fit and finish. All of our carbon fiber products come equipped with a high-quality clear coat to protect against harmful UV rays and minor road debris. This is a direct replacement for the OEM G8X M3/M4 diffuser. 

When it comes to carbon fiber, there are two types: wet and dry carbon. Dry carbon is considered better than wet carbon because it has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, meaning it's stronger and lighter than wet carbon. Additionally, dry carbon is made using a different manufacturing process, which involves using a vacuum and heat to remove all the excess resin from the carbon fiber weave, resulting in a more uniform and consistent product. This process also makes dry carbon more expensive than wet carbon, but for those looking for the best performance and quality, it's well worth the investment. This does not affect the glossy finish, this is simply the manufacturing process. These will still match with parts that are made using 2x2 wet carbon fiber.
