The VR1 front grill presents a simple and elegant solution for customizing the front end of your G87 M2. These grills are a direct replacement for your OEM G87 M2 grills. The Performance V1 grills are made using genuine pre-preg (also known as dry) carbon fiber. 

When it comes to carbon fiber, there are two common types: wet carbon and prepreg carbon. Prepreg carbon is considered superior to wet carbon due to its higher strength to weight ratio, making it both stronger and lighter. Prepreg carbon is manufactured by pre impregnating the carbon fiber with resin before molding, then curing it under controlled heat and vacuum pressure. This process removes excess resin and ensures consistent resin distribution throughout the weave, resulting in a more uniform, higher quality finish. Because of the more advanced manufacturing process, prepreg carbon is more expensive than wet carbon, but for those seeking improved performance, fitment, and overall quality, it is a worthwhile upgrade.
