Upgrade the front end of your G87 M2 with the Performance V2 air inlets. The Performance V2 air inlets are manufactured using genuine dry carbon fiber. Both pieces feature a 2x2 carbon weave which will closely match the OEM carbon fiber pattern found on the G8X generation. The front bumper will need to be removed for proper installation. Professional installation is highly recommended. We guarantee high-quality fitment and finish on all of our carbon fiber products.

When it comes to carbon fiber, there are two types: wet and dry carbon. Dry carbon is considered better than wet carbon because it has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, meaning it's stronger and lighter than wet carbon. Additionally, dry carbon is made using a different manufacturing process, which involves using a vacuum and heat to remove all the excess resin from the carbon fiber weave, resulting in a more uniform and consistent product. This process also makes dry carbon more expensive than wet carbon, but for those looking for the best performance and quality, it's well worth the investment. This does not affect the glossy finish, this is simply the manufacturing process. These will still match with parts that are made using 2x2 wet carbon fiber.
